Arctic char won silver in the Swedish Championship
Under vecka 41 åkte Robin och Linnea upp till Skellefteå för att delta i SM i Mathantverk som arrangeras av vårt nationella resurscentrum för mathantverk, Eldrimner. Tillsammans med ungefär 200 andra mathantverkare som deltog med drygt 600 bidrag hade vi några fantastiska dagar i norra Sverige med seminarier, branschträffar och inte minst själva SM där vår Varmrökta Fjällröding kammade hem

Fresh fish
We have a varied selection of fresh fish at our fine counter. Do you want to order something special? Contact us and we will do everything we can to bring home what you want.

Shellfish
We can deliver the vast majority of seafood on pre-order. We often have fresh shrimps, lobsters, mussels & oysters at home in the counters.

Freshly baked bread
We bake bread every day and you can pre-order our very popular Danish rye bread, they usually sell out quickly.

Ready-made
Every day we stock the counters with a varied range of ready-made products to make your day a little easier. Fish steaks, salmon lasagne, salads, shrimp sandwiches, potato salads and much more. The range varies often and a lot.

What seasonings are available on hot smoked salmon?

Hot smoked salmon as single fillet or double fillet
Single fillet is just as it sounds, a single fillet smoked with the skin side down and the meat side up. The result is a product that is usually slightly firmer in the flesh and tastes a little smokier than a double fillet.
Double fillets are two fillets placed together with the skin side out on both sides. This protects the meat more during smoking and the result is a slightly juicier salmon and usually with a slightly milder smoke flavor.
Where do salmon come from?
The salmon we use for hot smoking is farmed in the Faroe Islands and is free from antibiotics and hormonal additives.
Cold smoked and gravlax comes from Norway so far.
I am pregnant, can I eat your salmon?
Hot-smoked salmon: The salmon we sell can be eaten by pregnant or breastfeeding women without any problems. All processed salmon sold by us is farmed in the Faroe Islands or Norway.
Cold smoked and gravlax: Salmon has always been frozen before processing, so it is not a problem to eat when pregnant or breastfeeding.
The Swedish National Food Agency recommends eating salmon within 7-10 days of production. Ask the staff on your visit about products produced within this range and we will make sure to arrange this for you.

I am pregnant, can I eat cheese sold in your shop?
We have several different types of cheese that are perfect to eat when you are pregnant.
Can the dog come into your shop?
Unfortunately, dogs, or other animals, are not allowed in our shop.
Animals are very welcome in the restaurant.
How long do your products last once I have purchased them?
There are many factors that determine how long a refrigerated product can be stored. In particular, it is important not to break a cold chain, so it is a good idea to go straight home and put the goods in the fridge. Also, make sure to place fish products at the bottom of the fridge where it is coldest.

Plastic hot smoked/cold smoked salmon - 3-5 days from day of purchase
Vacuum packed hot smoked mackerel - 2 weeks from packaging date
Plasticized hot smoked mackerel - 3-5 days from day of purchase
