Rökeriet mellan Åhus & Yngsjö is located just outside Åhus, right next to Helge Å. Today, the business consists of a restaurant, delicatessen, and catering service with its own smokehouse, bakery, and production of pickled herring, cold sauces, and dips. Since April 1, 2020, the company has been run by Robin Eriksson and Linnea Lindberg.
We have high standards for the quality and origin of our raw materials and place high demands on our suppliers, which also means that we expect a high level of performance from our staff. However, prior knowledge is not always the most important factor; with a good measure of ambition, patience, and willingness, you can go a long way. We do, however, require that you have a couple of years' experience in the industry to be able to do the job. It is also an advantage if you are used to change and restructuring and see that change can be fun now and then. We are driven by ideas, and the path from thought to reality is not long.
In our shop, we mainly sell smoked fish and fresh fish, but we also offer a wide range of other delicacies, both loose and pre-packaged. We produce many of our products ourselves in our cold kitchen, including sauces, dips, pickled herring, sandwiches, pies, etc.

Vi söker nu butikschef till vår manuella delikatessdisk på Rökeriet.

Butikschefens huvudsakliga arbetsuppgift är att leda dagligt arbete med försäljning, varubeställning och bemanning. I arbetet ingår också att utveckla och driva butiken framåt för att vara en attraktiv och nyskapande miljö för kunder och personal.
Tjänsten inleds med arbete i försäljning till största del där ovan ansvarsområden adderas vart eftersom. Utbildning sker efter behov och främst internt och vid behov externt. Lön efter överenskommelse och utveckling.
För att vara lämplig att söka är det viktigt att du är van vid högt tempo, snabba beslut och att du är lösningsorienterad i alla situationer. För oss är varenda besökare viktig och alla gäster ska bemötas med respekt och lika värde. Som butikschef är du ansiktet utåt för vår verksamhet.
Arbetsstart i mars/april (efter överenskommelse). Tjänsten är en tillsvidareanställning på heltid.
- Du som söker ska vara minst 20 år.
- Work is scheduled during daytime hours (8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.) Monday through Sunday. The schedule is provided at least two weeks before the start date.

The job duties mainly include the following tasks:
- Prepp och förberedelser för lunch och á la carte.
- Produktion av såser, röror, pajer, mackor & sallader till vår butik.
- Bakning av matbröd & sötebröd.
- Arbete i såväl varm- som kall lucka.
- Goods picking.
- Inventering och beställning.
- Biträda kökschef och souschef i planering och ledning.
- Cleaning and washing up.
- Kundservice i telefon
Vi söker 1 person, med start i juni/juli (efter överenskommelse). Tjänsten är en tillsvidareanställning på deltid-heltid (75-100%).
- Du som söker ska vara minst 20 år.
- Arbete schemaläggs dagtid (08.00-21.00) måndag-söndag. 2 helger/månad. Schemat tillhandahålls minst två veckor före start.
- A driver's license is not required, but public transportation to and from the workplace is somewhat limited.
- Rapportering till kökschef.

Previous experience working with fish, meat, cheese, or other manual delicacies is highly desirable, although those with a keen interest can acquire the necessary knowledge through internal training. Training in food safety is also desirable. To be eligible to apply, it is important that you are accustomed to a fast pace, quick decisions, and that you are solution-oriented in all situations. For us, every visitor is important, and all guests should be treated with respect and equal value. As a store assistant, you are the public face of our business.
The job duties mainly include the following tasks:
- Service/sales over the counter.
- Refilling the manual sinks.
- Goods picking.
- Scale & cash register management (TruePos) with PLU, barcodes, and open items.
- Quality assurance of products.
- Cleaning and washing up.
- Simpler processing, especially cold cuts.
- Customer service by phone, email, and in person.
We are looking for two people to start in June (by agreement). These are seasonal part-time positions for June-August, with plenty of opportunity for weekend work during the rest of the year. There is a possibility of extension.
